Barge Services
Sydney Wide Barge and Excavation can access those harder to get to waterfront and tidal properties. The barge comes with a licensed and insured skipper/operator and is available for waterfront deliveries of building and landscaping materials and removal of rubbish and garden refuse.
Sydney Wide Barge and Excavation has significant experience in excavation on water edge sites.
Our specialist Barge services work includes installation, maintenance and removal of boom and containment equipment, and installation and renewal of marine signs etc.
Our experienced team has completed a significant number of boom and containment projects across a variety of waterways in NSW from Sydney Harbour to smaller rivers, streams and dams. We have also installed a significant number of Marine Signs both on shore and in the water across the Sydney and Hunter regions and undertaken vegetation control associated with visibility of signs.
Our barges allow us to service difficult-to-access waterfronts, marine and tidal locations.
Sydney Wide Barge and Excavation also works with builders, pool installers, concreters and landscapers to prepare properties for construction, renovation and improvement activities. We transport suitably sized excavation equipment by water if necessary to complete digging activities for boat sheds, sea walls, pools, dwelling construction and landscaping as well as providing product delivery to waterfronts and waste removal services.
Floating Boom and Containment Services
Sydney Wide Barge and Excavation specialise in a range of Boom Services such as Silt and Containment services. We install new booms, inspect and maintain existing booms and remove booms and silt nets when no longer required. Sediment control services can be designed from supply to installation. We manufacture quality anchors specifically designed for boom installations.
marine Sign Services
Sydney Wide Barge and Excavation provides comprehensive marine signage services. Our Marine sign services include:
- installation of approved signs,
- sign replacement,
- new post installation,
- installation of Surefoot footings,
- installation of concrete pads,

- undertaking welded post extensions.

Excavation Services
Sydney Wide Barge and Excavation operates a versatile range of excavators, from small to large. Small excavators are particularly good for limited access areas and harder to access waterfront properties.
We have significant experience in undertaking excavation projects both onshore and in the water. Our team can assist with rock hammering and removal and our work includes:
- building preparation including ground levelling, digging of trenches and footings,
- site preparation for landscaping,
- digging for pool installation or filling in pools
- building of access roads
- levelling and preparation for driveway construction,
- works associated with construction and repair of boatsheds and waterfront areas.
